What is your picking season and what are your normal business hours?

Our season typically runs from the first week of July until the first week of September. Two full picking months!! Picking hours can vary, depending on weather and berry availability. Please check our social media pages for most up to date information (@wildblackberryfarms on Facebook and @wildblackberry_farms on Instagram).

Are you open when it is raining?

We will close if it is (or has been) steadily and consistently raining or if the air temperature is over 92 degrees. Berries should not be harvested if they are wet or soft due to heat. We recommend checking our social media pages prior to coming to the farm if either of these situations are possible.

Do I need to bring my own picking container?

We have plenty of picking pails, with handles, for your use and now also provide plastic liner inserts that allow you to conveniently remove your berries from the pail and transport them home without the need for a separate container. You are also welcome to bring your own container, if that is preferred. You may also purchase our pails for $2 each rather than using the liners or your own container.

What are your prices?

Our current pricing is $6.00/lb for Pick-Your-Own and $7.50/lb for Ready-Pick.

If you are interested in our blackberry “seconds”, which are still delicious but maybe not quite as pretty and are great for jams, pies, syrups and wines, we can discuss with you a discount off of our normal Ready-Pick rate.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and debit and credit cards.

Do I need to advance order Ready-Picked berries?

No. Ready-picked berries are available for purchase at the farm stand during normal business hours. However, we sometimes sell out at the farm stand, so ordering ahead is always best. For quickest reply, please text 317-502-1210 to arrange for pre-picked berries.

Where and when can I pick up the Ready-Picked berries that I order?

Orders for Ready-Picked berried are available for pick up at the farm stand during u-pick hours or as otherwise may be arranged specifically with you.

Are you able to deliver fruit orders?

We will deliver orders of $100 or more that are located within 20 miles of the farm. A delivery fee of $15 will be charged to the order. After placing your order, give us a call at 317-502-1210 so that we can arrange a delivery day and time. Bulk orders can be delivered at a further distance from the farm at a to-be-determined delivery rate.

Are the picking areas handicap-accessible?

Yes. Our Pick-Your-Own blackberries are located within proximity to the parking area and there are no stairs to navigate. However, most areas are grass and you may encounter uneven spots on the ground, so flat shoes are recommended.

Do you have restrooms available?

Yes. We have ADA-compliant restrooms available on-site.
